If the number of soldiers is 210, find the number of soldiers in each row.

Number of soldiers arranged in 15 rows = 210

#### Example 2: Find the least number that should be added to 1500 so that 35 divides the sum exactly.

Let us divide 1500 by 35

Cost of 1 note book = $\frac{180}{15}$

= $\$$ 12

Cost of 9 note books = 12 x 9

= $\$$ **108 **

**Therefore the cost of 9 note books = $\$$ 108**

1. Sam lays 600 bricks in 8 hours. How many bricks he will lay in 1 hour. Also find the number of bricks he laid in 5 hours.
